I desperately need help with activating a new pre paid sim please🙏

I have bought an EE 120gb data sim for my rut950 4g router. I have put the sim into the router but nothing is happening. I can't put the sim into my phone as it is a different size. Please help as I have read that the sim will need to be activated by EE before I can use any data

Welcome to the community.

It would need to be put into a phone to get it up and running. If you look at the SIM, it should be a multi SIM, which pops out the size of the SIM that is needed, and can then be put back into the larger SIM.

Are you able to try that?

Hi Michael, I think it's worked but I can't find any EE wifi from the router🤷‍♂️. I did a speed test and it came back as 11mbps which I've never had before. I think it must be under the router name maybe🤔

You would need to look for the router name itself @Steve1737. The SIM just gives the data connection to the network.
