Hello
I have several EE SIM cards on a business contract which we used to use with portable 4G routers, this enabled remote working for our staff.
Some time ago these SIM cards stopped working in the 4G routers but would work in phones. There are many posts about this topic in various forums however, nobody has received a satisfactory answer from EE as to why they actively block data being used on 3rd party routers.
Can anyone tell me if this has been resolved, preferably someone from EE. For example, do we require a specific APN?

Can you cite some of these posts?

Hi @artemisuk.
Welcome to the EE Community!
As far as I'm aware we don't have any restrictions on third party routers, but for the best support for this I'd definitely recommend reaching out to our dedicated business team so we can take a closer look.

Hi Peter
Thank you for your response however, I called EE this morning who blamed
the router. Despite Vodafone, O2, Lebara and Three all working

Thanks @artemisuk , I would definitely give them another try, as if the router has worked in the past and suddenly several failed at once, it definitely needs further investigation.
If you check out the page I linked above too, it also highlights the details on how to raise this as a complaint if needs be, too.
