Cannot receive sms otp

I'm on PAYG. I can receive normal SMS but cannot receive any OTP from WhatsApp/Telegram. I've topped up, made calls in the UK, and checked phone settings. I suspect short code / third party SMS is blocked on my number. Can any EE staff help check or do a line refresh?
