5G Smart hub 3 work with a modem

Hi I own a 5G wireless router and was wondering if a modem would work for me to able to get a IP address my Xbox will recognise since it shows NAT type strict would this fix my problem

@Tbriggs_11 : A modem to what? To a fixed line BB connection? That could only work if your mobile router takes a WAN port.

I can't see that the xBox would see its public IP anyway but that makes no diff to the xBox. It's not the IP that the xBox sees that causes the strict NAT but the employment of CGNAT on the mobile network resulting in a double NAT.

So overall it could work when your mobile router has a WAN port by replacing the mobile network by fixed BB.
