As a business user, we were recommended the 4G Home Router as it supports upto 64 devices, perfect as we have about 20 online.
As we are a business user, we have a firewall already protecting our network, we therefore need to disable any firewall option on the EE Router (effectively modem mode).
I have read other threads on here that suggest you shoudn't disable the firewall and they give no indication as to how one might disable it if one wants to.
We have some MFP that struggle to send scans via email and we are getting random network connectivity errors from Outlook and various websites.

You won't be able to disable the router side of the 4GEE Home Router. These ISP-supplied mobile routers are pretty dumbed-down on configurability.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

Looks like there options for disabling various things on these routers:

- New customer and broadband not working in Broadband & Landline
- Issues with phone ringing in Digital Home Phone
- Remotely connecting to my home server via IPv6 pinholes in Broadband & Landline
- Battery Backup for WIfi 7 Router in Broadband & Landline
- Better performance using a VPN rather than without in Broadband & Landline
