Meet our Community Stars

Whether you're visiting the EE Community for the first time, or you're a regular visitor, you've probably read a post from one of our Community Stars.

The Community Stars are our local neighbourhood superheroes who give up their spare time to help our members find answers to their queries about anything and everything EE. They've been selected for being especially helpful and active across our forums over an extended period of time.

The Stars aren't employed by EE, but are very much a part of the EE family and trusted with extra privileges that help them improve the community for everyone. You may see them helping out by moving your posts into a more suitable forum, or merging similar topics so you can see all the best answers in the same place.

Our Community Stars can be easily identified by their user rank and star badge next to their username.

Who are our Community Stars?

@Chris_B was originally an orange customer and migrated over to EE in 2012.  He's been using the iPhone since 2007 and has also been an EE broadband customer since 2018.

@Northerner has a wide knowledge base; he's likely to be able to help or offer guidance in most areas, technical or otherwise. He's interested in Android OS on both phones and tablets and has a working knowledge of Windows phones.

@chistery works in IT and likes to travel to get away from IT. He's a network expert but can help you out across the board as he uses both Apple and Android phones and switches between them frequently.

@David is a civil servant by day, and in the Community helping out by night - or whenever he gets a moment. He's always up for a chat and a discussion about the latest tech. A Samsung fan for a while, he can help with issues related to IOS & Android as he previously worked in the mobile industry in a variety of roles and loves the opportunity to test out any new mobile tech.

@bristolian has been in mobile telecoms all his working life, starting out in tech support and more recently various network technical and project roles. He's interested mainly in the radio access side, and it's where he's usually found. A long-time Android user, on phones & tablets.

@Mustrum has worked in the Telecoms industry all of his life, initially in the military, later in and then supporting the banking sector both domestic and International. A user of early Nokia’s, then Windows phone, Blackberry’s, and now iPhones and iPad’s. Likes to travel in his spare time and watch Motorsport.

@Schockwave was an Orange Customer with one of the first Nokia phones from 1995, and switched to EE when it launched. A keen Apple user, she has an iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and MacBook as well as a Windows laptop. She has picked up a wealth of tech knowledge over the years and helps out in the community wherever she can.

@Midnight_Voice is a TV expert with bags of community experience. Over recent years, he has been a veteran of the BT, Now TV, Sony and YouView Communities to mention just a few. Recently retired from a career in IT, he lives on the south coast with his wife of 40 years.
