Why am I suddenly unable to gift data to my daughter's phone? I've been doing it every month for several years.

Welcome back to the Community!

Is it the app, the browser version of your account, or both that are having these issues?
Also if you're using the EE app, is this fully up to date at the moment?

It's on the app. My phone is not showing me of any updates available.

Have you tried heading to myaccount.ee.co.uk to see if you can do this through here?

Once logged in select Manage Mobile > Plans and Subscriptions, then select the number you want to gift from and you should see the gifting option.

When I go in this way, it's telling me that my daughter's phone is data
rich and has unlimited data. So even if I select my account to transfer
from, when I select my daughter's to transfer to, it won't let me because
it thinks she already has unlimited data.

Does your daughter's number show an unlimited data add-on or have unlimited data included in the plan?

If so and you're daughter has unlimited data you would be unable to gift data to her number.

The whole point of this issue is that my daughter's gets 250mb of free data
every month and I gift her data. Why do the app and my account on the
website think that she gets unlimited data - she doesn't and currently has
no data because of this mess.
