@Sean_D : I'm hoping this is the only 1 but I seem to remember there was another but my reply post about it seems to have disappeared.
- URL link opens in the existing window as opposed to opening in a new window – This has been resolved. Clicking on a URL within a post will result in the link opening in a new window - NO

Good morning @XRaySpeX,
I hope you are well.
Khoros have confirmed that they have now changed the default option on opening links to 'Open in new Window'. This has been changed for both new posts and replies 😀
I have tested this and can confirm that this is the case. If you notice anything different please drop me a reply.
Cheers

Hi @XRaySpeX,
Thanks for the post.
Khoros responded to confirm they had fixed this particular issue. I have tested this again this morning and for me, this is working as expected.
Whether the link opens in a new tab or in the correct window will depend on which option was selected when the link was created. The default option is 'Open in new page'
This link should open in a new page, EE Community
This link will open in the existing window, EE Community
Hold on a second 😮, there is something strange afoot. So on some boards, the default option is Open in a new page, but when composing this post, I noticed that the default option was to open in the current window. The default option should be consistent throughout all Community boards. I will raise this to find out what is going on with respect to this behaviour.
Can you please confirm that when you create a link and choose, to open in new page, the behaviour of the link, once posted, is respected and opens in a new page?
For me, the functionality is working, at least on the 2 test boards that I have tried on, but I need to understand why the default option differs depending on which board the link is created on.
Cheers
Sean

I create a link here with:
- The default, Open in Current Page: The EE Community
- The option, Open in New Page: The EE Shop
In both cases the link, once posted, is respected and opens in the requested page.

Thanks for confirming @XRaySpeX,
I have asked Khoros to change the default option and once this has been completed I will let you know.
Cheers

Good morning @XRaySpeX,
Quick update on this issue. I received confirmation that Khoros have changed the default setting so that when adding a link to a post, the target option will be set to 'Open in new Window'.
After testing this I noticed that this is the behaviour when adding links to a new post, however, the default option on replies still seems to be 'Open in current window'. I have replied asking for this to be addressed and will update you again once I know more.
Cheers
