Buggy Notifications

The notifications seem to be quite buggy recently. Email notifications are working fine but the built-in notifications don't work, and I'm missing replies because of it.
On my notification feed, the last item is from 1:47pm. But I have emails in my inbox as recent as 2:23pm!
I've checked my settings and I'm set up to receive all notifications on both email and online.
Any ideas?

- You've checked your notification settings but have you checked your board subscriptions? Are you subscribed to the "General Chat", "Offers & Add-ons" & "SIM cards & Porting" boards.
- What notification setting do you reckon triggers "You helped so&so"? I've never seen this altho' I do get "So&So helped you".
