Digital Voice - Unable to save or delete messages on 1571

I have just switched to Digital Home Phone.

I've noticed that I no longer have the varying ring tone when a message has been left, but on dialling 1571 I am told I have three new messages.

However, after listening to the first message I cannot delete it with "3", nor can I save it with "2", and so it is impossible to get past the first message to listen to the other two.

My handset is a DT Duet 210 v2 which is plugged into a Digital Voice Adapter model X16-G90.

Any ideas welcome, thank you!

@VoyagerH This is going to be a pain, but the DV adapter has issues with particular on a service where the keytone press does not function, to prove is there anyway that you could plug that corded phone direct into the back of the router phone connection and test there that you can delete and skip to the next message. The varying ringtone on pick-up to let you know voice message has been left is working it's way back, been gone for a while, but poster's on the Forum are now reporting it has come back, new Firmware (FW) to the EE Routers have been fixing a few DV Landline issues...

Thanks JimM11, that's helpful to know.

Yes, on plugging directly into the Router I have the full 1571 save/delete functionality. So, just to clarify, are you suggesting that the DV adapter is possibly faulty (and so I need to ask EE to replace it), or that it will be resolved by the new Router FW?

Grateful for your assistance.

@VoyagerH The DVA is NOT faulty, it seems to be one off the functional oops, where on particular services like, calling the bank, your insurance company, the doctor etc, and obvious on the EE Service voicemail and the main option direct to EE, then everything works through the back off the router fine, but when connected to a DVA it's very hit/miss what will work.

It's 100% pain that the phone HAS to plug into the router to all work correctly, and the new Firmware (FW) being released at present is addressing loads of issues, but there is NOT anyway of finding anything out, so just a keep eye on the postings... HTH

Cheers JimM11 - will continue with plugging in to the Router for now then!
