Hi 

my contract ended in September but I continued to use my phone until I bought a new handset and a NON EE sim 

I got a PAC code from EE 

my question is will this automatically cancel with EE?

Obtaining a PAC doesn't do anything, and if that's all you've done then your contract will have continued.

It's the use of the PAC - by giving it to your new supplier - that ports your number and cancels the existing contract.
