Move from Flex to 24 month contract and roaming

I've had a simple flex plan for ages, one of the benefits of which is that I can roam in Spain without further charges. However, I'm starting to hit a few limitations so I'm considering migrating the flex to a 24 month account with roaming smart benefit and data sharing.

I already have another EE account with a couple of contract services for the kids so I'd be adding a new SIM-only service to this account. Am I likely to meet any difficulties migrating my existing (flex) number across to the new contract SIM? Also, I have a positive account balance on the flex account - would that disappear when the flex plan closes?

You can do the switch from PAYG or Flex online by Switch to pay monthly and save . Your existing PAYG credit will be carried over as credit towards your future bills. You keep your existing SIM & no. The plan on it is just switched to contract.

Many thanks, and further thanks for moving the thread to a more appropriate section. Is it possible to use this link to add the new service to my existing account? I've noticed that the cost displayed for the 160GB plan does not include my 10% existing user discount and I want to have the option of gifting data to the kids.

Hi @Digiwake

I would suggest giving us a call on 150, and the team can make sure the number is transferred to the existing account for you.

Thanks 🙂

Leanne.
