EE have emailed that they have received Smart WiFi Device

I closed my account and returned the wifi device. EE emailed that they have received the Smart WiFi Device. Since then they’ve sent two emails ‘reminding’ me to send the device and threatening to charge £65. The most recent on Christmas Day (very festive).

How can I stop these emails and stop EE charging me for a device I’ve already returned?

Merry Christmas.

We are customers just like you, but the emails are automated. You can set to unsubscribe if you wish. However, if you have the email stating the products have been received back by EE, then you have proof so if any charges do arise (I don’t think they will but again I am not CS) you can state that you have the email to state the equipment has been received back by EE. Have a nice Christmas

@tjor The e-mail's are all automated, and advise reminding, send it back, the amount if not and the final date to be done by,

Item Charge Return-by date

Smart Hub Plus£85.0009 May 2025

e-mails were 25/3, 8/4, and received back conformation 16/4 although posted 10/3 on the change over date....

After the confirmed by EE then nothing else was sent!
