EE Failed Payment

my EE direct debit payment failed as my balance is too low, so I made a top up debit to EE credit as I thought it would be deducted from there to pay for my failed payment, but it still hasnt done anything after i top up my credit, what should i do to pay for my data, as I usually do direct debit, but now my money is in EE credit. and theres also a price difference between paying with direct debit and credit, I dont want to pay extra to use credit for my usual data plan

(I only top up £18 so its not enough to make my usual PLAN20 payment, and EE won’t let me top up £2)

If you have a DD in operation you shouldn't make a manual payment on or soon after your billing date. It is then too late to stop the DD being auto taken in full. Even if the DD fails the 1st time of asking it will be auto attempted again about 7 days later. Now the extra will be used as credit against your next bill. It won't show on your a/c until the next bill.

There shouldn't be any price difference between paying with direct debit or directly.

@LalaKhairunnisa : Scrub that! I now see you are on PAYG but posted under Contracts & I answered accordingly.

You aren't paying for PAYG by DD but by Direct Card Payment entitling you to a 10%  discount. As your last card payment failed due to lack of funds you can only now buy your £10 pack manually at full price & make sure next month your card has sufficient funds to pay for the next pack.

Can't see how you managed to top-up only £18. Top-ups are in multiples of £5. You will now need to top-up a further £5 to buy this month's pack.
