Credit Score

I have recently checked my credit score and noticed it has had a significant drop due to "EE comms supply account removed"

I'm not entirely sure what this means however I do know for sure that I have not missed a single payment and not opened a new account.

Has anyone else had a similar thing happen

Credit Scores are just a marketing ploy to be treated with a pinch of salt.

Removing an EE contract would reduce your indebtedness & your ability to pay regularly & be monitored on it.

I agree that credit scores are a marketing invention. It's well worthwhile checking over your (free) statutory credit report from the 3 leading CRAs periodically though. If you see any errors or inaccuracies on there, they should be addressed.
