Regardless of who makes the payments, it is the account holder who is legally responsible for a phone and who can make changes,

If you want to take on legal ownership of your phone, and the current account-holder, consents to this, then the process is explained under "transfer to a friend, colleague or family member" on...

Hi there @Rachelle3

I'm sorry to hear this.

If she is the account holder, she can cancel the contracts and make any account changes.

It may be worth seeing if she would be open to changing the account into your name, if so, she will need to call us on 150 and then you can call and complete the credit check for yourself.

Leanne.
