My account was unexpectedly closed for NO reason. I have never missed payments.
It's now too late to contact customer service!! **bleep**?????

As you switched to PAYG while abroad you can't now use it until you return to UK. EE PAYG SIMs need 1st activating on EE's home UK network.
Your old a/c is closed as it's a contract a/c & you no longer have a contract. You will need to create a new a/c for your no. as PAYG. You need to call CS to delete your old contract MyEE a/c & then you can set up your new PAYG MyEE a/c afresh, using the same mobile no. & email addy if desired. You can't mix them under MyEE.

No clue but I'm super mad.
I did ask to switch to a pay as you go plan but a) that's not in effect before 21 July and b) no reason for my account to be shut down!!!

@Debdebmolokodeb , You will have to ring customer service in the morning and they will be able to take a look for you. Just wondering, have you not been able to log-in to your account or what is the reason for you to believe EE have closed your account?
Once you have changed to pay as you go, you will not be able to use the app until you have spoken to EE, as pay monthly and pay as you go, unless you use different emails, then they will have to reset your account so that you can register with your pay as you go account.

So what is your basis for saying your account has been closed? What's happened or is happening, that leads you to this conclusion?
If you can explain your issue, the community may be able to help.
Otherwise EE C/S are open in the morning and they will have access to your individual account.

No service and when O managed yo find z WiFi connexion and log into my EE account it said my account has been shut. No explanation given and no warning

You've mentioned moving from pay-monthly to PAYG - are you in the UK or abroad currently?

Are you abroad? The symptoms you are experiencing are exactly those you would expect if you were moved to PAYG while abroad. Looks like they may have done it early.

Indeed I moved abroad hence why I asked EE to switch to PAYG but I thought they'd give me somenkind of warning before closing my account
