Our landline ********** is out order. We rely on this as our first telephone for family and friends to call us. We don't use mobile phones.

[Mod edit: phone number removed. Please do not post personal details on public boards.]

@PatW12 Not going to be easy, but you are going to have to see if you can get someone to come by with a mobile and call EE CS on that, or report it via the complaints form and just take the response time that is involved doing it that way!

@PatW12 : I had this happen to me about a month ago but with BT not EE but it should be the same. It took longer to fix than necessary as OR misdiagnosed the symptoms I correctly reported & did not visit my home & local exchange as they should have done until the 3rd try. See FYI: BT Phone is Good Paying Auto Compo

Do you not have a dial tone? What happens when someone phones your no.? Do they get no ring tone or does it go to a stranger (as it did with me - crossed lines not sussed by OR immediately)? These are the important checks to make before reporting it to EE.

You need to report it by calling EE CS on the Freephone no.(Opt 1) in my sig.  or texting PHONE to 66033 from some other phone.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

@XRaySpeX Don't see how the test is going to work with nothing registered and the OP said they don't use mobiles "" or texting PHONE to 66033 from some other phone.""

Sorted using techfixer!
