I have the Smart Hub which I believe is WIFI 5. I now have up to 20 devices connecting and I am suffering slow, breaks and other WIFI problems. I believe this is due to the device connection limits of WIFI 5. Is my only solution to this, to purchase a WIFI 6E or 7 router and connect it to my Smart Hub, turning off the Smart Hub WIFI signal or is EE producing a better HUB anytime soon? Thank you.

Hi Mustrum
1. I use WIFI Explorer on my iMac but, I am not an expert, I may not know what I am looking at? How do I check if I am getting interference?
2. My EE Smart Hub is set on separate bands - OFF (the hub is set as it came)? I am not an expert. At the moment it is using Channel 1 (2.4mhz) and 48 (5mhz).
3. See 2. Do I just hit the rescan button on the advanced settings within the Hub Manager?
You keep saying WAN? On my Hub manager all it says for WAN is: WAN PORT. That is set to OFF - as it came? Is that Wide Area Network?
Sadly your explanations are not at my level of understanding - please simplify.

Your WAN is just your BB. The WAN port on the router is only used when you don't get your BB over a landline as you do, but thro' some other device like a modem.
