What colour are your discs?

I found this on the BT forum.

The white BT discs (Original, Mini & Premium) will work with ANY router/hub (including all other ISPs).

The black BT discs (Complete Wi-Fi) will only work with the Smart Hub 2 - this is because the Hub itself is the first/primary disc (so no need to connect a disc by Ethernet to the SH2).  Complete Wi-Fi is only available to BT Broadband customers - and is part of their package.

@Mustrum : Does it then follow that the black BT discs will connect to an EE Smart Router, which is based on the BT SH 2?

@XRaySpeX  or indeed the new PN router, but somehow I doubt it.

Each router seems to have its own firmware, with different options, PN and some BT versions can be set to bridge mode for example.

Were it me, I would be trying the BT router on EE with original username and the EE one - unless they have asked for it back which I believe they do now.

BT routers, & others, do work on EE BB with BT creds.
