Hello,

I'm thinking of ordering the 1 Gig Fibre home broadband package.

Can anyone tell me if this comes with a Static IP address or if a Static IP can be added?

No, you would need a business account for that.

I don't think even an EE business a/c would get you a static IP altho' a BT business a/c probably would.

I don't know their reluctance to give people their own IP static address especially now full fibre is available.  Was looking at moving my websites/email hosting in house but I cannot do that with dynamic IP addresses.

This should be a option for us as residential customers, with our own domain names.  Some of us are not businesses and don't want a business service.

@JustinUK : Then you should join an ISP that caters for it. I'm not sure whether PN still issues static public IPs for a small 1-off fee.
