Samsung has just unveiled three new versions of their latest ground-breaking smartphone, the Galaxy S10. But which one should you go for? We’ll help you decide…

Samsung Galaxy S10+

The Samsung Galaxy S10+ is the biggest of the three phones, featuring a 6.4-inch Infinity-O Display. The new display curves around the sides of the phone, so there are barely any bezels that get in the way of your content.

The screen is nearly completely uninterrupted – there’s just a small cut-out in the top corner for two front-facing cameras that you can use for taking stunning selfies.

This big and bold display makes your photos, videos and websites look epic – so if you use your phone lots for entertainment, this could be the phone for you.

There are a total of five cameras on the Galaxy S10+, two on the front and three on the back – that’s one more than the Galaxy S10 and two more than the Galaxy S10e. The extra camera on the front of the Galaxy S10+ helps you get more creative with your selfie shots, such as creating blurred backgrounds.

The Galaxy S10+ is also available in different versions, with up to 12GB of memory and 1TB of internal storage space – that’s more powerful than most laptops.

The Galaxy S10+ is a great option if you use rely on your phone for work, or you have tons of films, music, apps and photos you’d like to keep with you at all times without having to buy an additional memory card.

The battery is super-powerful too – so if power and screen size are your key considerations when choosing a new phone, go for the Galaxy S10+.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 has many of the same features as its bigger brother, but in a smaller frame, with a 6.1-inch Infinity-O Display.

The main differences lie in the camera setup, screen size and internal memory and storage.

The Galaxy S10 has one less front-facing camera, so if you take lots of selfies to share on social sites, this might be a key consideration. The extra front-facing camera on the Galaxy S10+ will help you get extra creative with your images, but also means the small cut-out on the Infinity-O Display is slightly larger, to accommodate the extra lens.

If you prefer a more compact phone, don’t mind a slightly smaller display and can live without the extra camera on the front, the Galaxy S10 is likely to be your top choice. It features most of the same features as the Galaxy S10+, including PowerShare, an Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner and three cameras on the back.

Samsung Galaxy S10e

If you like phones that easily slip into your pocket or handbag, and mainly use your phone for calls and texts, you’re likely to find that the Galaxy S10e fits into your lifestyle easier than its bigger brothers.

The Galaxy S10e features a flat 5.8-inch Infinity-O Display. Some people prefer a curved display that gives the impression that your images and videos flow across the entire display, while some prefer flat displays that are less likely to be accidentally touched or get damaged if you drop your phone on its side.

Size-wise, if you tend to watch most of your entertainment on a TV, tablet or laptop, display dimensions aren’t likely to be a main consideration. If you watch lots of content on your phone, a bigger display size is recommended.

Equally with the cameras, the Galaxy S10e has one less camera on the back than the Galaxy S10 and one less on the back and front than the S10+. However, it does still feature a 16-megapixel ultra-wide lens and 12-megapixel zoom camera, so you can create epic cinematic images and close-up shots from far away, as well as detailed selfies.

If you’re okay not having the most premium version of the Galaxy S10 series and prefer compact phones to large screens, go for the Galaxy S10e. Step up to the Galaxy S10 or S10+ if you need a larger screen for watching lots of content, take tons of photos or use your phone regularly for business.
