EE explained

You’ve seen us around. Maybe followed us on Twitter or liked us on Facebook. But now’s your chance to find out who we really are, where we’re from, what we’re here for and how we like our tea…

Let’s get the easy one out of the way. Builders, please. No sugar, we’re sweet enough already.

Dad jokes aside, here’s everything you need to know about who we are and where we’re from...

We’re EE – the new network for your digital life.

We’re part of a family that includes Orange and T-Mobile, but what makes us special is that we’re the only mobile provider in the UK who’s bringing you 4G. It’s now live in 10 cities all across the country and we’re flicking the switch in six more before Christmas.

And to make this whole deal even sweeter, we’ve also got Fibre Broadband that’s 10 times faster than the UK average. So you can be a Speedy Gonzales at home and away.

And that, in a nutshell, is who we are. But what does that mean for Orange and T-Mobile customers?

If you’re an Orange or T-Mobile customer, your phone should now have two little Es as your network identifier.

What it doesn’t mean:

That your phone can give you the power of flight.

That you’re automatically on the 4G network.

What it does mean:

That you get a high five.

You can now upgrade to a new EE 4G tariff.

You’re officially now part of the UK’s biggest 3G network. EE’s 3G network covers 98 per cent of the population. And the best news is that nothing else changes for you. Your number, your charges, your plan: it all stays exactly the same. All without you lifting a finger. That’s one spicy meatball.

The real humdinger is that if you want to sign up to EE, we’ve made it super easy for Orange and T-Mobile to get their hands on superfast 4GEE and Fibre Broadband.

The question is: Are you going to make the switch?
