Dear,
I currently have a 4G 20Gb sim-only plan. I'd like to upgrade to a 160Gb. Do I have to change my sim card (sent via post I suppose)? If not, when is the new plan active (immediately or after my next monthly bill)?
Thank you,
Alpha11

@Alpha11 If your due an upgrade it’ll start within 24 hours of you upgrading. You don’t need a new sim as it’s only an account change. If your not due an upgrade you’ll have to call customer services to see if it’s possible for you to change tariff and it’s only possible to change to a more expensive tariff than you have now. This will obviously not be an upgrade but a change of tariff so your current upgrade period will still be the same so it’s not a new 24 month tariff.
Are you due an upgrade? If not ask for a change of tariff when calling customer services. Asking for a upgrade can result in you paying off your current contract to the minimum term date.
