Hello. Reached the end of my 24 month pay monthly contract with my Huawei P20 Lite and have decided on a 24 month SIM only option now. Awaiting my Sim card. Anyone got any advice??? Is it straight forward swapping SIM??? I'll need to make sure phone numbers are backed up. And take it I will lose my text messages?

As it's an upgrade you won't even need to change the SIM. All that happens is that the plan changes on your existing no.
