Own Huawei B535 router with 4G EE 100GB sim. Virtually no download speed since April. EE shop say new mast could take till September 😞

Help!

All network sites should have unique eNB ID's, and the site you're attached to has been inplace since several years - so I don't think, based on what I've read here, you're connected to a temporary mast.

Although having a temporary solution is a good outcome, I would still recommend pursuing the "report a problem" link, in advance of a potential conversation with (most likely) EE second-line C/S.

Although I'm sure the EE shop is well-placed to say that customers are reporting issues - unless this is reflected on the status checker, I would remain sceptical that there is a recognised fault.

Sometimes the only way that a fault becomes recognised, is by users reporting it.

Thanks, tried the network status checker several times but 'no fault found' also reported the fault to EE and the same result from them so puzzled as EE shop says it's the mast?

I'm sure any EE retail shop is well placed to speak of their experience of the network service in their area.

The recommended process to report and clarify network issues, if the status checker has been exhausted, is to contact EE C/S (either on 150, or 0800 0798586) and speak to (most likely) a second-line agent who has access to some further toolsets.

Thanks again, will try  0800 0798586 tomorrow.

FYI just got this on status checker so things could be moving...

I checked the Mast / Church Location and surrounding Areas yesterday, and it was coming back as Know Issues, sorry forgot to Post about this.

So if you check the Post Code Area of the Church or near Beverly Station this may give you a better update of possible Faults and any Fixes, example of the Post Code in this Area HU17 0--.

Just got back home after a few days away.

Thanks for the further helpful advice - hope you guys are paid by EE!

Anyway the temp. Smarty (using 3 I think) sim in my router seems to have the same slow problems as my regular EE. I think the roof work on the church must have effected both masts.

Strange thing is Smarty/3 say Ii need a router not phone sim in router although have tried most main networks and their phone sims all work in my router?

Thanks again, will update any change.
