Have you checked for an update? I am now on beta 18.3? It seems to be working better than beta 18.1, just go and click on settings update.

Same here and I was blaming the EE network, I thought I would be the beta because before didn’t happen to me. Glad to know some people experience this , so is not only me

@Robcrouch so what’s the problem you have a beta installed on a test device and you accept the issues that come with beta software when you install it. Just stating the obvious.
Just out of curiosity is your daily device on the EE network and does that have this problem ? because you don’t say you just bring up the beta software/device having this issue. So if that has no issue what does that say.

@Schockwave There is 2 separate betas available OS 18 public beta 3 or developer beta 5 and OS 18.1 which is not yet available as a public beta it’s just a developer beta at present.
At a guess 18.1 will be the version on the next iPhone when it becomes available it’ll not launch with 18. Apple now have a software launch and then a few weeks later the iPhone launch.

Beta 18.1 Ai version is a version after beta version 18.3 so there is no where anyone can update to I’m afraid. It’s complicated as apple as released 2 different betas at same time. The normal IOS 18 beta and the IOS 18 AI beta.

@Chris_B , I was writing about the public beta, which is 18.3 and yes I know the developer one is beta 5. I also know that OS 18.1 is not available for the public yet. This is normal and I have seen it every year.
Well, I might have to wait until after my holiday in middle of September before I can apply for the IPhone 16 Pro Max and IWatch 10, unless by small chance it is out before then, which I doubt!
Some do not check for updates if on beta, as beta 3 is available in my opinion.

@Gareth43 , AI beta may be for the newer IPhones, as I have IPhone 12 Pro Max, so that may be why I am on beta 3 and not Beta 18.1 AI!

@Schockwave You need to call it 18b3 not 18.3 😁. How are you finding it ? I did update my iPad to the developer beta 5 and it seems pretty stable, once the 18.1 is updated to developer beta 2 I might push on to the iPad.

@Chris_B Why 18b3, I. Wrote Beta 3 and previously 18.3 beta? it is ok, pretty stable, no problems, thus far as I can see.

The purpose of the thread was the op asked if anyone else experienced the issue, so I replied saying yes as i have, not sure what your need to get involved was?
