Wrong plan on Apple watch

Hi!

I purchased an Apple iPhone 13 pro max and Apple Watch series 7 yesterday. Arrived today! The plan for the Watch is the family plan when I really needed a personal plan (website isn’t clear and this wasn’t mentioned on the phone when I had to complete the order). Phoned 150, waited 30 minutes on hold to be told I have to send the watch back and reorder on a personal plan. Seems like a bit of a faff! Is this really required? How long before I’m able to reorder  a watch on a personal plan? Thanks

Thanks for coming to the community. 

 

If the team are unable to change the plan for you and the watch would need returned, once this been processed and the order cancelled your account will update and remove the watch.

 

Once this is complete you can order another Apple Watch on the correct plan.
