Third party Apple Watch

I’m looking at buying a Series 7 cellular Apple Watch from curry’s. I currently have an iPhone 11 with EE with 100GB of data and unlimited calls and texts. Am I able to connect my Apple Watch to my phone contract to use the data without my iPhone without any extra costs? Or will I always need my phone with me?

@Bill_Batten14 A cellular watch means you can leave your phone behind and are still contactable. If you get a cellular watch and want it working via cellular you’ll need to take out a 30 day sim only contract at £7 per month. You’ll get 10Gb of data just for the watch but it’ll use your call/text allowance from your phone tariff.
