EE SIM

Hello people, 

im trying to use my EE sim in a new phone, the phone was previously used by an old 02 number.. I can’t seem to get any signal! Do I need to unlock the phone and if so how do I do it?

Are you on EE PAYG or pay monthly contract.

Are you in the UK. 

You'll need to contact 02 to unlock your device.

Phones sold in the UK since approx 2021 are unlocked. If yours were SIM-locked, I would expect an error message along the lines of "SIM error" or something similar.
