Apple payment method won’t work buying more storage

Hello

i have been purchasing extra storage for my iPhone for 79 pence a month for ages now. Payment always taken out my bank account from my card details.

I got a message this week saying the payment method has been declined and now all my photos aren’t backed up. 
I have tried re adding my bank card paying via PayPal and via my mobile - all the options it gives - oh and Apple Pay - none will work they keep getting declined. 
I haven’t changed any of my bank details and my accounts have sufficient funds.

has this happened to anyone ?

@Vpep  Is your card in date ?  And you’ll be better off asking Apple as this is an apple service and has nothing to do with EE at all.

Yes card is in date - just thought I would try here under the Apple section before I went to them as someone may have had the same problem

@Vpep  You could check with your bank to make sure nothing has been blocked when you use that card.
