The device needs to be exchanged and the swap device has been requested

@BigB111 The device that has been sent into repair is going to be exchange for a different device. It’s probably beyond economical repair or can not be repaired so you’ll get back a different device that’s the same model of the same specs.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know how long it would typically take for a replacement device. Also do they have to tell me if the replacement device is a refurbished one.

No they don't have to tell you as they would have in the T&Cs already.
It will be a refurbished device unless you purchased very recently.

Hi my A52 has just suddenly become unresponsive on the touch screen and I can't unlock the phone or get into it. Can you please let me know what the process is for sending it into repair.
