This has been happening for the past few months, I haven't dropped it either, I could be in the middle of doing an Email or.paying something through my bank app, and it just cuts out on me.

Yes this has happened at home , while I am in the town at my work, it's a nightmare it's not an old phone aswell.

Is your handset running on the latest software @Louisegunning39?
You can check this in your phones settings.

Yes all software is up to date, all the updates that show up is always uploaded that day. I payed of my other phone contract early cause it didn't have Google play and couldn't get the apps I required. And now I am having problems with the phone.
