Have tried again and again to get EE to unlock phone. The online form doesn't work and spent ages talking to customer service for them to say it will be done in less than 10 days. Been well over two weeks and still nothing.
How do I unlock the phone?

I'm having the same problem. discusting way to treat customers just because they choose to change provider.

Why is it that you can't unlock your phone? Have you requested it to be unlocked through the website yet?

I'm having the exact same issie. three long painful calls to customer services who have assured me it will be unlocked and I'm tempted to leave now

What was advised when you contacted our customer care team to explain the unlock had not worked?

Hello
Please help. My contract ended several months ago and this month I started a new contract with a new phone
Now I'm trying to use my old phone with a new sim and its locked.
I cant find an unlock section on my ee and besides I'm on a new contract now??
I'm abroad for a few weeks and can't use a local sim nor call ee
Please help me ?? The phone should be unlocked as soon as the contract ends??

Thanks for coming to the community.
The unlock section via the EE app can be found by following these steps:
Menu > Settings > Device and SIM > Unlock your phone.
It's OK that you have started a new contract just enter the IMEI number of your old device when completing the form.
