Can you start a new pack early if you don’t have an ee phone to text 150 NOW. My mobile broadband is with ee but my mobile phone is not

@DPA40 : Can't you send a text from your mobile router? Most of 'em do! Login to it & look for the SMS section.

@DPA40 When connected to the router from a web browser enter
192.168.1.1 the password might be admin.
If you have one of these 4G routers I’m still trying to find out how you send a text from this myself and I’m starting to think it’s not possible as there is no option I can find to do that. You can receive a text on it though.
if your phone is network to unlocked you could put the EE Sim card in your phone to send a text message NOW to 150.

@DPA40 The password to login to that router as admin is under the battery cover. Just enter the IP address in to a web browser when connected to the router and then the admin password. the IP address is on there also.
There’s a few settings in there you might want to have a look at.
If you find out how to send a text from it do me a favour and tell me. Haha.

Which mobile router have you?
If it a 4GEE WiFi Mini that @Chris_B shows it's 1 of the few that can't send SMS. A retrograde step on part of EE.
Your only solution then is to unlock your mobile phone & put the EE SIM in it to send the NOW text.
