Hi, is this watch 4G or it relies on your phone for communication?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi @micsel
Welcome to the community. 🙂
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is 4G enabled, this means it can connect to the EE mobile internet to make and receive calls as well as using data when outside of Bluetooth range of your phone.
When taken on contract with us, it shares the minutes and texts of your phone plan and gives you unlimited data through the watch.

If this is the case, then why when trying to set up a mobile plan for it, it says
"EE doesn't offer mobile plans for your watch".
I have a 4G plan for my watch set up for no means to actually use it. I feel like I'm being ripped off...
I had the same issue with my watch 3

I have also taken out a plan and getting the same message. I have a pixel 4xl.

Morning @Smallface
Thanks for coming to the community.
I am sorry, you would need one of the following Samsung phones on a pay monthly or SIM Only EE account to pair the watch:
Thanks.
Leanne.

I have been having the same problem and you have answered it. But, it would be nice to know that the 4G is not available on non-galaxy phones at the point of purchase. It is stated that some apps are not available without a Galaxy phone, but I was led to believe the network pair would be functional.

Morning @RobbHood
I'm sorry to hear this.
Where did you purchase the watch?
Which model phone do you have?
Thanks 🙂
Leanne.
