I am a new customer to EE and paid my first bill 3 days ago had a confirmation email but it is still saying outstanding on account. Is this normal? Is there a telephone number to contact a helpline I can not find one.

Did you pay via direct debit or manual payment?
Your bill is normally collected 10 days after you receive your bill, if you paid manually it normally takes up to 48 hours to clear at EE end.

Paid by card but will be doing by direct debit as soon as I can set it up.

They'll be happy to check your payment has been received.
