Apple iphone 12 Pro

Hi!  I am new here so do bear with me.  I have purchased the above iphone and note that the Apple logo flashes at startup, disappears after about 1 second, then  after a few more seconds the screen appears in full.  Has anyone experienced this?  I have seen on Google search it is a known 'issue'. Nobody has ever posted a resolution.  Many thanks for your comments.

Hi @ChrisWM,

I don't think there is any reason to think this behaviour could damage your phone, but please get in touch with Apple Support if you are concerned.

Hi @ChrisWM,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

Please can you give us some more details about the issues you are seeing?

Is your phone phone failing to start up altogether or is it just taking a little longer than usual?

I'm experiencing the same @ChrisWM. At first I thought that I hadn't pressed the side button long enough as the apple logo briefly flashed, but a couple of seconds later it continues to boot up as you'd normall expect.

Yes, all seems to be working fine @James_B. A quick search has revealed that this is being widely reported and Apple are aware. Thanks.

That's great @Andy_65

Thanks for letting us know.

Hi! Just as I stated. The logo appears for around a second then disappears then a few seconds it continues to boot normally. My only concern is will it lead to a failure of the phone?  The phone is new and the last thing I want is a refurbished replacement under the insurance. Best. Chris

Hi! Spoke to EE yesterday and the phone is being replaced.  I did explain it may be a software issue, but was told best to replace it otherwise I would be stuck with the phone being repaired and I don't want that as less than two weeks old. Best Chris
