My EE mobile isn't working abroad, asking for sim lock password. It's meant to be open and trying to check with IMEI no,bgetting error message from EE. Please help

@Bcious You says it’s meant to be unlocked did you check this before leaving the UK ? When did you get this device?
A device not working abroad is totally different to a device that’s network locked. Does your EE sim when in the device pick up a cellular connection? If it does then it’s working abroad. And it’s the network lock on the device that’s your issue. If you need the device network unlocked you can make that request HERE.

I didn't check before leaving the UK as I expected it tonot be network locked .
And I've had for almost 2 years now . It's network locked not that my EE SIM.isnt working abroad.
I tired it but getting error message
