Hello @Rema1987

Many devices automatically convert text messages into MMS in certain scenarios, and sending to multiple recipients is one of those.

This is a handset function and operates regardless of network operator - although EE have a help page explaining the situation here

I have been charged 18£ For this! When i called EE they offered me half the amount back! But it was just a text saying new number i should have been charged at all

Hi @Rema1987

Thanks for coming to the community.

You can find information on when you would be charged for a picture message and how to stop this in our Why are some text messages converted to photo messages, Help page @bristolian has provided.

Thanks.

Leanne.
