Hi,
I currently have an iPhone X and Apple Watch 3. they are paired together.
I'm going to change my Apple Watch 3 to the new version 6, and give my son the 3.
we both have sim only plans and I also have a watch plan.
my question really is:
if I unpair my watch (3) from my iPhone (x) can I then pair the watch (3) with my sons iPhone keeping the same plan, then pair my new watch (6) with my iPhone (x) and start a new plan?
Kind regards

@TillyGundog If the series 3 is on watch OS 7 it’s not compatible with the firmware on the iPhone 6 as that only goes up to 12.4.7. Watch OS 7 is compatible with iOS 14 and the lowest device to run iOS 14 is the iPhone 6s. You can not downgrade the watch to a lower firmware.

@TillyGundog What plan do you have on the series 3 ? as this will depend on what you do to setup your series 6.

You'll be able to set up a similar plan for your son's phone, @TillyGundog
The cost is now £7 per month though.
