@BC52E  What colour lights are on the router when this happens?     This is important to know.   WiFi is only a signal from the router so is it the WiFi signal that’s dropping out or is the router that’s losing connection as that would cause the WiFi to drop out.

@BC52E : Is it the BB as a whole dropping or just the WiFi connections? Do Ethernet connected devices stay working? What colours are the light sequence when it happens?

BB issues are rarely widespread but specific to your own line.

If it is a neighbourhood issue, you could consult Check service in your area  to see if any faults are being attended to in your local area. You may also Report a Problem there.

Text HELP to 66033 to get EE to test the line & see what needs doing.

Which EE router & WiFi extenders, if any, do you have (read label or post a pix)? What is the name of the EE BB plan are you on including its speed?

@BC52E Has your EE Hub changed position by much since your FF Full Fibre upgrade, that can have an effect for the wireless wifi signal.

I am disappointed in service from EE it takes forever to actually speak to a real person ,anyway since having fibre optic BB installed 3 months ago it has been nothing but problem . wi fi  keeps dropping twice Openreach have been out to check and signal coming to router /hub appears to be ok and they suggest EE tech should visit to check set up in house, EE supposed to gaurantee 250mgb im on 300mgb plan. various EE reps on phone have given different advice not happy overall. im waiting now for new hub and visit from tech. EE rep last time said i could not get refund for interupted service other EE rep said i could cancel contract as i was not getting what I am paying for,

Hi @BC52E.

I am sorry to hear of your recent experience when speaking with our tech team.

There has been some great questions asked above in this thread to be able to provide further assistance, it would be great if you could take a look when you have a moment and get back to us.

Alternatively, if you wish to wait for your new router and a visit from the engineer it would be great if you could provide an update following your visit.
