Question about Gifting Data

Hi 😊

I am on the monthly unlimited plan. Can you tell me if this is possible:

I wish to add the cheapest £13 plan as an additional plan on my account, so I will have two numbers. It comes with 250mb data allowance. I wish to gift my 100 Gig giftable allowance from my unlimited plan to this new £13 plan every month. Can I do that?

After I gift the 100 Gig to the new number, I still have unlimited data on my original plan, yes? The unlimited plan is unaffected by this gift?

@Kontrive : Yes, just gift the 100GB at the start of your billing month. Otherwise as you yourself use data it correspondingly reduces your 100GB gifting allowance.

After you gift the 100GB you will have 500GB to play with yourself as "unlimited" plans have a FUP of 600GB pm.

@XRaySpeX  Great answer, thanks 🙂 The FUP seems low for an unlimited plan. Is this strictly enforced?

Thanks! You're welcome 🙂 ! Glad I could be of assistance & it is now sorted.

It is possible you will be "invited" to take a business contract if you consistently breach the FUP for personal use.
