Gift data from abroad

I cannot gift data while I am abroad. My

account had unlimited data however when

i am trying to gift it says I do not have enough data to gift. 

id it possible for someone within customer services to do this for me please?

Where are you abroad? If you are outside EU when your allowances refresh you will be unable to gift data until you are back in UK.

I am currently in Crete, trying to gift data to my Son on my account and its telling me that no one on this plan is eligible for data gifting?

We have gifted before from the UK?

Does it change when you're abroad in the EU??

You can gift the first 100GB of your data. If you have not exceeded this I'd recommend giving us a call so our customer care team can help process the data gift for you.

You can’t gift data from outside the UK but you can receive it. I had the same issue. You will be able to do it on your return however I don’t think you are able to use gifted data outside the UK either

Not really true! You can't gift data or receive it from a country where your UK allowances are not available after your bill date occurs. Such countries are outside the EU + 5 other Roam Abroad countries. You were in Turkey which is such a country. @Jayne_Smith is in Greece, in EU, where this rule does not apply.
