Yeah that's a lie. I was late last month, paid the fee. Yet today, while not late, I've got another late fee. Honestly, I don't think a direct debit would do anything when there's several posts about this exact same issue. You're just robbing your customers. Poor service.

Was the payment for the bill previous paid late, @Mstarr?
If you think it's wrong, have a chat with our Mobile Care team who'll check the payment history with you.
A Direct Debit would make sure your payment is made on time every month going forward, providing there's funds available on the Direct Debit date.
