In Home Broadband settings you'll find almost everything you need to set up your own router incl. how to work out the pwd. What's missing for Fibre is:

  • VLAN ID = 101

You will not be getting a G.Fast Modem. You will be getting an integrated G.Fast modem router, the EE Smart Router. You may use that on its own or you may replace it by any generic G.Fast modem router, e.g. the ASUS DSL-AC88U.

If EE sent you a new router with your order for G.Fast BB then it must be for G.Fast. Is it the white EE Smart Router?

AS I said earlier you may use an ASUS DSL-AC88U in its place.
