Hello,
Technical Wi-Fi question here.
I'm using an EE Smart Router and on the control panel I'm only able to select between one of four 5GHz channels (36, 40, 44 and 48). I was looking for a channel bonding option to give myself a 40 MHz wide channel.
I don't see an option for this - can I confirm that this is not possible on the Smart Router?
I understand that these devices are designed to be as simple as possible, and I dare say considerate to other nearby wifi users on the same spectrum.
All the best,
Penguin

@PenguinThief are you using the app, or have you tried logging into the router with a browser?
Not sure it will make a difference, they are quite limited, but worth a try.

@PenguinThief - I'd suggest leaving the 5GHz channel selection alone because in practice it won't do much.
Whether you select channel 36, 40, 44 or 48 is somewhat irrelevant as the hub will use an 80MHz channel width across all four regardless.
You can confirm that this is happening if you so desire by using a Wi-Fi scanning application.
