Connecting to BTWifi-X with EE sim

So I had a Pixel 7 Pro, and I connected to BTWifi-X using SIM as Authentication (EAP method), and it worked perfectly, automatically and seamlessly connecting to any BTWifi-X that I was near.

I have had to move back now to a Pixel 6 Pro, and using the same settings, I'm getting Saved / Authentication problem.

I've moved to a new flat and there is zero EE signal one meter away from my window, so this was my only saviour!!

Thanks for coming here. 

Are you in the same location you have previously been able to connect to the BT WiFi on the Pixel 7? 

Can you connect to other WiFi networks using the Pixel 6?

Grateful for your reply.

It's the same location, it was working fine on the P7P, moved my eSim to the P6P, with that the P7P stopped connecting and the P6P wouldn't make the initial connection. I checked and all settings were the same on both devices 😕

P6P connects to other WiFi with no issues.

Any work around that you can think of?

I would suggest calling us on 150 and our tech gurus will see if they can suggest anything else for you to try.

I tried. Tech team weren't able to help. I'll try a couple of things next and post back here if I have a solution.
