£60 taken out of my bank yet my plan is £10 a month sim only?

So recently I ordered a new sim as I was upgrading from Plusnet to EE and everything had been going fine with the sim till I see that £59.00 had been taken out my bank??? I pay £10 for 10 gb and have a direct debit set-up so I'm wondering why they have taken it out my account (It's not pending either it's actually been taken out).

It could be a refundable security deposit against roaming.

Ok Thanks for replying what do you think I should do? Also when I managed to log into my account and view my bills it said I actually had a 20gb plan and it showed my recent bill was £59.00 also said I had a sum of roughly £13 outstanding? This makes no sense to me as I'm only meant to be paying £10 monthly. I'm also currently abroad so my connection is rubbish and I can't do much for a few days till I return.
