Hi,

I have recently joined EE/BT for broadband, TV and Landline.

Why is it that I am not getting notifications on my phone telling me I have a Voicemail message.

According to EE information I should be getting an intermittent dialling tone when I pick up the handset to tell me I have a message, this is not happening.

With my previous provider I got the intermittent dialing tone and an unopened envelope icon on my handset screen.

Any help to resolve this will be greatly appreciated.

What do hear when you dial 1571?

When I dial 1571 I get the welcome message saying how many new messages I have and the options. I press 1 to listen to the new messages. Then 3 to delete.

PS sorry about first post must have pressed the post button in error.

So, it's working but you are not getting notifications by an intermittent dialling tone when there new msgs?

Do they now start up if you get get someone to leave you a new msg?

Hi,

No I have rung my landline from my mobile and from my wife's and left a message from each one. I still do not get the intermittent dialling tone. I was getting it on my voicemail with the last broadband, tv and landline provider so I know it is not my phone system at fault. This phone system is about three months old and is an update on the previous one. Which worked ok with my old voice mail for about 5 years.

Who was your ISP before EE?

Virgin Media

Ah, that's a diff system but you should still get an intermittent dialling tone with EE.

Which EE BB package are you on? Was VM also Digital Voice?
